Boarding
Home Away From Home
We are happy to provide boarding for the four-legged members of your family. Because we are a veterinary hospital, you can have the peace of mind that we have your pet’s health and well-being as a priority during his or her stay. Our boarding area is smaller than most commercial boarding facilities, so we don’t typically have the loud, chaotic environment that can be seen in larger places. The Animal Hospital of Hinesburg boards both cats and dogs while Bristol Animal Hospital boards only cats. At The Animal Hospital of Hinesburg, our feline guests are housed separately from dogs, thereby reducing stress caused by some of our more exuberant pooches.
What to Bring
If your pet has a special blanket or toy, we welcome you to bring it along. However, we can’t guarantee we can accommodate large beds or that certain items won’t get soiled. Not to worry, we have plenty of comfortable bedding already here. We also recommend that you bring your pet’s food and any medications with him or her. We’ll adhere to your pet’s feeding and medication schedule as closely as possible. For those boarders that don’t have their own food, we offer Science Diet Sensitive Stomach food.
Requirements to Board
The safety of our boarding guests as well as our hospitalized patients is one of our utmost concerns. We do require your pet to be up to date with certain vaccinations and free of contagious disease.
