Effective immediately the Animal Hospital of Hinesburg and Bristol Animal Hospital have implemented a few practices to minimize risk of COVID-19 exposure to our staff and our clients. We anticipate these measures to be in place for the foreseeable future.
We will be taking measures to very strictly limit the number of clients into the building except in very specific cases/circumstances. When you arrive for your scheduled appointment you will be asked to call the clinic from your car. A staff member will take a detailed history of your pet over the phone, then come out to your car to bring your pet in for his/her exam. Once a complete exam is performed a doctor or technician will call you to discuss the findings of the exam. Payments can be made over the phone (we will not be taking credit cards from people to run inside the building) or by cash or check. Lastly, a staff member will return your pet to you in the parking lot.
Medications and products may still be purchased over the phone, then either brought out to the car for you by a staff member when you arrive, or we can place them in a container outside our doors.
Due to the complications of curb-side service, the hours of operation of both hospitals have changed slightly and may continue to do so. Please give us a call for updates.
